Insula Roosevelt, vel a 1921 ad 1973 Insula Salutis (Anglice: Welfare Island),[1] vel ante 1921 Insula Blackwell (Blackwell's Island), est insula angusta in Flumine Orientali Urbis Novi Eboraci, quae inter insulam Manhatam ad occidentem et Burgum Reginae? (Queens) ad orientem iacet. A viis Orientali 46 et Orientali 85 Manhatae patens, ea est circa 3 km (2 milia passuum) longa, latitudine 240 m (800 pedes) et area 0.59 km2 (147 agros).

Insula est pars Burgi Manhatae et Comitatus Novi Eboraci. Una cum Mill Rock, Insula Roosevelt est Tractus Census 238 Comitatus Novi Eboraci, cui est area terrestris 0.72 km2 (0.279 milia passuum quadrata),[2] et cui sunt 9520 civium anno 2000, secundum Censum Civitatum Foederatarum.[3] Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation anno 2007 aestimavit numerum civium esse circa 12 000.[4]
