Picture of Eugène Borel (Neuchâtel, 17 June 1835 - Bern, 14 June 1892) was a Swiss politician. From 1872 to 1875 he was a member of the Swiss Federal Council (Government) and in 1875 he was Vice-President of the Council.

Eugène Borel contributed in the foundation of the Swiss Postal Union and the en:Universal Postal Union (Treaty of Bern, 9 October 1874).
