Iacobe . . . nil scio de circuitu . . . Fortasse mi dicas cur est translatio lemmatis Samoana? --Ioscius (disp) 14:06, 29 Iulii 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good question, as it implicates a policy worth considering. Perhaps three glosses might have strong claims to appear parenthetically near the start of articles: (1) in the language of origin; (2) in English, the world's lingua franca; and (3) temporarily in a language of interest to the author, to be cut when an article in a parallel wiki shall have been set up, at which time the link to that wiki would serve the same function. The first two might be useful in attracting the attention of bots that add interwiki links. IacobusAmor 16:40, 29 Iulii 2007 (UTC)[reply]
So, just making sure, the Samoan is there just for you? =] --Ioscius (disp) 16:54, 29 Iulii 2007 (UTC)[reply]
And then when I set up the parallel article over there (in sm:), I can delete the gloss here. OK? IacobusAmor 17:05, 29 Iulii 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sure... I was just curious: "are the origins of the tour de France really Samoan?!" No problems =] --Ioscius (disp) 17:08, 29 Iulii 2007 (UTC)[reply]
