That is a most inappropriate lemma. What is this page about? Not even an interwiki link to tell us. Unless this page is improved, I think this is a candidate for deletion. --UV 20:03, 27 Decembris 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure either. Can you clarify? Is this just a collection of Gould's pictures? A book he wrote? A gallery? Couldn't we just include this stuff in a page about Gould himself? Harrissimo 20:31, 27 Decembris 2007 (UTC).[reply]
OK. I've got you now. For those who don't know, this is an illustrated book of his and the English wikipedia has a page on his book "The Birds of Australia" and so this is unlikely to be delenda material. I'll move to the simpler "The Mammals of Australia". Harrissimo 20:37, 27 Decembris 2007 (UTC).[reply]
Ok, just started, there is much more to be found at different websites, and there are different books, about birds and mammals, the gallery i've just sorted out (completing the names and getting them in alfabetic order will be 4 times as large when i've finnished it, i've been working at species and commons as well to upload lots of new materials i've found, that's the images you see at our latin articles and not at the english, the meaning is to get a lemma about the book (information - there are various illustrators from the Gould familie - and it has to become a kind of subpage between the article about Gould, and the fauna of australia.
I'm not sure we should have a page so full of images - especially if it will grow fourfold! I think you should probably just choose the most significant species rather than giving a full gallery. Is there such a thing on the commons, or just a category of these pictures there? I think that if there is, we should link it as a nexus externus into the article rather than trying to collect them all here. Harrissimo 22:34, 27 Decembris 2007 (UTC).[reply]
I'l think about that, Hendricus 22:38, 27 Decembris 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oh gosh! I just had a look at the commons. What a mess! I'll try to make a new category at the commons so that we can make a link. Of course, there is also the page List of Australian Mammals which shouldn't be too hard to convert to latin. Harrissimo 22:40, 27 Decembris 2007 (UTC).[reply]
  • Right, a terrible mess indeed, missing the names missing sources as well, i already tried to get the sources right in there, otherwise, our images turn blank in a short time, Hendricus 22:43, 27 Decembris 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe if you keep working on it (I'll keep my nose out!), we can see how big the full gallery will be and see what to do from there. What do you mean by 'the sources'? like (Linnaeus, 1851)? Harrissimo 22:45, 27 Decembris 2007 (UTC).[reply]
I've mean the source of the image: Imago:Rufous bettong.jpg, Hendricus 22:54, 27 Decembris 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Should be here somewhere i think: Aus mus, Hendricus 22:57, 27 Decembris 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, found it: [1], Hendricus 23:01, 27 Decembris 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You don't want to put those on all the images do you? The files themselves list that site as a source. Harrissimo 23:19, 27 Decembris 2007 (UTC).[reply]
Not all of them, i complete it when neccesary, Hendricus 23:21, 27 Decembris 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Excellent! Harrissimo 23:22, 27 Decembris 2007 (UTC).[reply]
Imago:Petrogale inornata.jpg Here is another one without source, Hendricus 23:23, 27 Decembris 2007 (UTC)[reply]
