- Indeed. However, -politensis may also be available, as we see in this excerpt, from 27 February 1490: "ut patet publico instrumento publicato manu Francisci Pappacode, notarii Neapolitensis in Neapoli" (Ronald Woodley, "Iohannes Tinctoris: A Review of the Documentary Biographical Evidence," Journal of the American Musicological Society, vol. 34 (1981), no. 2, p. 246). "Embarrassing"[fontem recensere]
Dear 2003:d2:1bc5:8982:3446:2d3f:c881:66d0, why was this article so "embarrassing" that it should effectively be deleted? The Latin lemma was attested (in the English article, see the school's logo, which doesn't print here), the grammar was OK, and the subject's notability among prep schools was obvious. - It's even an item in the news today, in that it was where, as a student, Neil Gorsuch, Donald Trump's nominee to the US Supreme Court, felt himself to be politically so far to the right that he joked in print that he'd founded the Fascism Forever Club. - The most embarrassing thing may have been the list of teachers with silly names. It's a pity the list lasted such a long time unemended (I myself maybe put it there and forgot it -- see my 2007 comment above -- I don't know now). It was of course long out of date, and inaccurate even after your tweaks. I thought the best plan was to remove it, but if you prefer to put back a correct version there is a source on the school website.
