Disputatio:Bootes (constellatio)

Hi. I removed the diaeresis for two reasons:

1. We do not normally indicate accents of any sort in the actual title of the article (but I at least consider them appropriate when the word is first mentioned in the article itself, cf. alcaeda)
2. The diaeresis indicates that two vowels are to be pronounced seperately. In English this makes sense, because <oo> is normally used do indicate the various u-like sounds of good and food, not the double-o sound of Boötes. In Latin, however, <oo> never represents anythong other than two os. In other words, since there is no oo diphthong, the diaeresis should not be used in Latin. --Iustinus 05:29 iul 21, 2004 (UTC)

Ha! After 12 years I restored the diaeresis to the lemma (not elsewhere in the text). I wouldn't usually, but in this case the IAU and other good astronomical sources write it this way (probably so that English-speakers don't pronounce it booties). Is that OK, do you think?
