Nonne etiam Aquilegia, ut Aevo Medio et aliter appellabatur? Vide in Wikipedia Anglica: "the northern Italian diocese of Aquilegia." Vide etiam Aquilegia in Gvidonis Geographica. Et praeterea Hofmann. IacobusAmor (disputatio) 12:54, 27 Decembris 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hofmann counts as a "reliable source", so I guess you might add that spelling as an alternative, but it's definitely not the usual one. This place is well known in late classical and medieval sources.
Hadn't encountered Guido's Geography before. I must say its spellings look entertaining! As for the diocese, this is usually reliable, and it doesn't agree with en:wiki here.
Thanks for the link to Guido. Useful text. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 15:19, 27 Decembris 2012 (UTC)[reply]
