Descriptio
English: Antinous Mondragone: from the Mondragone villa in Frascati (Italy), owned by the Borghese family, who owned the bust in the 19th century. Marble, ca. 130 CE, Italy. The eyes and the attribute on the top of the head (uraeus or lotus flower?) were added on later. The bust was inserted into a body of a different material.
Français : Antinoüs Mondragone, ancienne collection Borghèse (XIXe siècle), exposé à la villa Mondragone, près de Frascati (Italy). Marbre, vers 130 ap. J.-C., Italie. Les yeux et l'attribut au sommet du crâne (une fleur de lotus ou un uræus ?) sont rapportés. Le buste était inséré dans un corps, scuplté dans un matériau différent.
